Saving Land that Matters Most

We listened to you. You value protecting our cultural identity and way of life and focusing on land conservation that meets four priorities – conserving habitat, protecting shoreline and water access, connecting lands, and providing recreational access. We partner with willing landowners, donors and local governments to get the job done now, as time is running out.

Education

There are a variety of ways to grow your love of nature. Enjoying an outdoor picnic under the oaks, playing an outdoor nature game or exploring shoreline habitats by kayak are a few. Check out our programs and events – we have more than a dozen free programs each year.  We are also your regional voice for conservation, and help our state and local decision-makers stay informed on the issues and strategies that shape smart conservation decisions.
