24TH ANNUAL SARASOTA NEW YEAR’S PINEAPPLE DROP CELEBRAITION
Joyful Extravaganza: A Spectacular Kids Carnival, NYE Countdown, and Dazzling Midnight Fireworks Illuminate Sarasota Bay

SARASOTA, FLORIDA (December 31, 2023) – The 24th Annual Sarasota New Year’s Eve Pineapple Drop returns on Saturday, December 30 from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. and continuous Sunday, December 31 from 1 p.m. to Monday 2 a.m. along Main Street and Lemon Ave downtown Sarasota with a carnival, multiple outdoor stage performances, NYE count down and fireworks.
Ring in the New Year at the Downtown Sarasota Block Party and Pineapple Drop Celebration! The ‘party kicks off Saturday, December 30 at 1:00 p.m. to 10 p.m. with Amusement Rides and Games and continues Sunday, December 31 at 1:00 p.m. with Amusement Rides & Games (at 5 Points Park) Live Music (Main Street and Lemon) Food, Drinks & Full Bar Concessions followed by the Pineapple Drop at midnight and a fantastic firework display on Sarasota Bay. Enjoy a great view- without leaving the party!!! The event ends Monday, January 1, at 1:30 am. The event is FREE and open to the public.
Join us Sunday night of unforgettable live music starting at 8:30pm, featuring the incredible talents of the Top 10 country artist Chas Collins (Lemon Ave.), the energetic beats of 22N Dance Band (Main Street), and the captivating rhythms of SRQ Beats (Lower Main).
The Sarasota Pineapple Drop Carnival Hours run from 12/30 Saturday 1 p.m.-10 p.m. and 12/31 Sunday 1 p.m.-1 am. Unlimited Ride Wristbands will be for sale for $35 on site from 10am – 5pm for use 10am-6pm. Wristbands will be for sale online until 3pm for use 10am-6pm. Wristbands are for persons 36” and over. Ride Heights vary – some require an adult rider with a child.
