Venice Theatre presents GYPSY,
Music by Jule Styne; Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim; Book by Arthur Laurents
Based on Gypsy: A Memoir by Gypsy Rose Lee
FEB 17 – MAR 19
One of the most well-known musical fables, of all time, which tells the story of 2 sisters, Louise and June, and their strong, opinionated, success-hungry mother, known as Rose.
Hats off, to all of the cast and crew for their superb timing, lighting, stage sets, exquisite costumes and delightful singing, dancing, and humor. Of course, the unforgettable Burlesque dancers and their memorable performances are one of the highlights of this show.
It is amazing to see the restoration continue of our Venice theatre. Everyone’s contributed to the production of Gypsy, on the newly built stage in the Raymond Center. Such a beautiful job was done.
