The World Champions Cup is set to make its debut December 7-10, 2023, at The Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Florida. Tickets are now on sale at www.WorldChampionsCup.com. Champions Passes, which allow access to the grounds and the grandstand, start at $40 per day, with prices increasing the week before the tournament. While supplies last, the tournament is offering a Black Friday “Buy One, Get One” special on all Champions Passes.

Kids 15 and under receive complimentary admission with a ticketed adult (up to four kids per ticketed adult).

Some of the highlights for fans to enjoy on and off the golf course include:

Fans can join World Champions Cup players and staff to celebrate the tournament’s first year with an unforgettable Block Party at Waterside Marina (1580 Lakefront Drive, Sarasota, FL 34240) on Friday, December 8 from 6-9 p.m. This celebration is open to the public and will feature great food, drinks and music as well as ticket giveaways, T-shirt giveaways, photo opportunities with select players and the World Champions Cup trophy, interactive games for all ages to enjoy and many more festivities.

Located between the short par 4 third hole and the par 4 ninth tee box, the Crossroads Fan Zone presented by Skechers Performance is a central gathering place where fans can stop for a beverage or a bite within a short walk of six golf holes. Spectators can explore a variety of culinary delights from five local food trucks, and refreshing beverages will also be available. The food trucks featured will include Up in Smoke, Hook Orlando, The Big Cheese, OVN – Stone Pizza and Lee’s Famous Cheesesteaks.

Located to the left of the fifth green and the left of the sixth tee box, Jack and Tony’s Place will feature three different local food trucks for fans to enjoy while out on the course. Seafood Bandits will offer a variety of fresh seafood dishes, while Chikiz will serve their famous Columbian empanadas. Juicy Leo’s, a family-owned and operated business by Orlando natives with Cuban roots, will also be on site.

Come join Publix near the first tee to kick off your day at the World Champions Cup. This area is a great spot in the heart of the action for fans to get together with their friends and family to enjoy a Publix sub or two before you venture into the first tee grandstands.

Fans won’t be able to leave the inaugural World Champions Cup without experiencing the most Instagrammable moment on the golf course – a photo opportunity with a life-sized replica of the tournament trophy. Sponsored by Lakewood Ranch, the trophy will be impossible to miss between the ninth green and the Clubhouse. Don’t forget to tag @WorldChampionsCup

Each of the three teams competing in the World Champions Cup consists of six players, including a playing captain, and all are active PGA TOUR Champions members. World Golf Hall of Famer Ernie Els, 2011 Open champion Darren Clarke and 2003 U.S. Open champion Jim Furyk will each serve as playing captains in the first playing of the World Champions Cup. Jacobsen, a seven-time PGA TOUR winner and popular golf commentator, is the Chairman of the event.

Team International includes Els, Vijay Singh, Retief Goosen, Steven Alker, Stephen Ames and K.J. Choi. Team Europe’s roster features Clarke, Bernhard Langer, Colin Montgomerie, Miguel Angel Jiménez, Robert Karlsson and Alex Čejka. Team USA consists of Furyk, Steve Stricker, David Toms, Jerry Kelly, Justin Leonard and Brett Quigley.

Inspired by the passion and tradition of the Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup, the World Champions Cup is officially sanctioned by PGA TOUR Champions and is set to air on ABC and ESPN. The World Champions Cup will feature Team International, Team Europe and Team USA squaring off over three days of competition that will renew some of the game’s most storied rivalries as the teams battle for international pride and global bragging rights.

The World Champions Cup is an annual three-team, three-day competition that will be contested across nine-hole matches featuring team formats and singles play, with points being earned for each hole won in each of the event’s 24 matches. The team with the highest point total across all matches will be crowned the champion.

The Concession Golf Club was named the Best New Private Course in America by Golf Digest in 2006. The seed of what would become The Concession Golf Club was planted in 1969, with Jack Nicklaus’ famous gesture of conceding the final putt in the Ryder Cup to Tony Jacklin, clinching the first tie in the competition’s history. Decades later, the two golf legends paired up to design and create The Concession Golf Club — a championship, privately-owned golf facility with no houses lining the course. The course has hosted the PGA TOUR’s 2021 World Golf Championships-Workday Championship at The Concession, the 2015 Men’s and Women’s NCAA Division I championships and the biennial Concession Cup.

ABC and ESPN will serve as the exclusive television homes of the World Champions Cup. Coverage will air Thursday, December 7 and Friday, December 8, as well as Sunday, December 10. The event will also feature a unique pro-am on Saturday, December 9.
