Students Soar in SHS Circus Arts
Magnet Program Showcase

On May 9, students from the Sarasota High School Circus Arts classes performed a dazzling display featuring the acts they practiced throughout the school year –for some of the seniors, throughout four school years. The students, who train at the CAC for two class periods every day, as well as learning real-life skills that relate to circus arts, earn class credits toward graduation. Their performance electrified the crowd with a creative combinations of acts and sizzling dances, with skill, talent, and energy to spare. Congratulations to all the Circus Arts Magnet students on a fantastic finish for 2024-25!

This all-star circus collaboration between The Circus Arts Conservatory and The Ringling museum showcases some of the finest circus artists from around the world, performing acts to thrill audiences of all ages. Sailor Circus Academy
Celebrates the 2024-25 Season

On Tuesday night, Sailor Circus Academy students, families, and coaches dressed in their best and enjoyed an evening at the Sailor Circus Banquet. This annual tradition features food, cake, pictures, friends, fun, and, most importantly, a chance for the community to recognize and honor the dedication, hard work, talent, and unique qualities in their fellow students and coaches.

This year’s gathering included a very special tribute to coaches Pam and Warren Hamilton, who are retiring after eleven years coaching Acrobatic Roller Skating, Slack Rope, and High Wire at SCA, as well as helping with so much more. The CAC family is deeply grateful to Pam and Warren, and wishes them all the best as they start a new chapter.

Sarasota’s favorite summer camp is filling up faster than ever! Three sessions are completely full, but there are six more weeks of circus fun available.

If your child or grandchild has completed kindergarten, they can discover the joy of circus this summer. They can try trapeze, rolling globes, aerial acts, rolla bolla, trampoline, wire walking, clowning, juggling and more, as well as making new friends, enjoying circus games and crafts, and then presenting their skills in a spectacular costumed show for families, creating memories that will last a lifetime. Camp runs from June 2 through August 8 with before and aftercare available. Sign up today!
